Flashlight

Energizer LED Flashlight

I found a nifty flashlight. It's from Energizer so you shouldn't be surprised that it comes packaged with batteries. It only needs 4 AA's to work. Instead of a regular lightbulb, it had a single LED. And it is bright! It works so well because they put a magnifier on the protective lens. The result is a nice projected circle of light. There is no dark spot in the center. It has a fairly uniform brightness throughout. The bulb never needs replacing. As if that wasn't enough, on the side is a high intensity fluorescent bulb. When it is turned on, a small room can be filled with a soft light. It's perfect for reading. This bulb will last 10,000 hours. And the batteries can power the flashlight for 100 hours. Hopefully I won't need it. But, it's nice to know it will be there.
